The straight answer to "which basket should I own." A laser-cut basket from IMS's E&B Lab line — straight walls, evenly spaced holes, and a rim profile that clicks into a standard 58mm portafilter the way the stock basket does. Grind, dose, pull. It just behaves.
Three ways to have it:
- Precision — the classic cylindrical basket. Even extraction, easy tamping, the reference geometry.
- Nanotech — same basket with E&B Lab's non-stick coating baked on. Pucks knock out clean and dry, oils rinse instead of clinging. The upgrade you notice at the sink, every single shot.
- Superfine — smaller perforation holes that let you grind finer without sediment in the cup. Rated 16-20g. For chasing higher extractions.
